Get five stars before they leave the shop.
TapStar is a Google review card you keep at the counter. The customer touches their phone to it, your Google review page opens, they tap five stars. No app. No typing. No "sir, please search our name."
Tap the card to see it work
Already tapping across Delhi NCR
Businesses using TapStar review cards include Maghrib, Za Nafees Salon, Al Hamd Pizza Cafe, Studio 1999 Salon, It's Your Barbeque, The Kittens Mania and The Specific Service.
AI picks the shortlist now. Reviews decide who's on it.
Customers don't scroll ten blue links anymore. They ask Google's AI overview, they ask ChatGPT, they ask Gemini — "best salon near me", "good pizza in Okhla". Those answers get assembled from what businesses have on their Google profile, and reviews are the loudest signal in the pile.
Recency counts
A profile with reviews from this week reads as an open, busy business. Forty reviews that all stop in 2022 reads as a place that might have shut down. The card keeps a steady drip going instead of one panicked push.
Volume builds the shortlist
When an assistant names three places, it leans on profiles with enough reviews to look credible. Being the shop with 12 reviews next to a competitor with 200 is the whole problem, and it compounds every month you wait.
Their words become your keywords
Customers write "great biryani", "quick haircut", "friendly staff", "open late". That language sits on your profile and gets matched against what people actually type and say. You can't write it yourself — only your customers can.
Three steps, then it just sits on your counter
Setup happens once, on our side. The card arrives ready to use.

Keep it where you say thank you
Counter, billing desk, reception, delivery bag. Hold it near a phone, the review page opens, five stars in ten seconds.
This is the entire interaction
Ten seconds at the billing counter, while they're still happy about the thing they just paid for. That's the window, and it closes the moment they step outside.

Questions people actually ask
The basics
What is a Google review card?
It's a credit-card sized card with an NFC chip inside and a QR code printed on it, programmed with your business's Google review link. A customer holds their phone near it or scans the code, and your review page opens on their screen — no searching, no typing, no app.
How does the NFC review card actually work?
NFC is the same short-range technology as tap-to-pay. The chip holds a web link. When a phone comes within a couple of centimetres, it reads that link and offers to open it. One tap on the notification takes the customer straight to your Google review screen.
Does my customer need an app?
No. The card opens their normal browser. Nothing to download and nothing to sign up for, on your side or theirs.
What if their phone doesn't support NFC?
They scan the QR code printed on the card with the camera app. Same page, same two taps. Every smartphone works one way or the other.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. iPhone XR and newer read the card automatically — hold the top of the phone near it. Older iPhones use the QR code. On Android, most phones from the last several years read NFC as long as it's switched on in settings.
Do customers need a Google account to leave a review?
Yes, Google requires people to be signed in before they can post. Almost every Android user already is, and most iPhone users have a Google account too. If they're not signed in, Google prompts them and the whole thing still takes under a minute.
Price, delivery and setup
How much does a Google review card cost in India?
₹500 for a single card and ₹1,000 for two, fully set up and branded. That's a one-time price with nothing recurring. Larger orders for chains and multi-branch businesses get bulk pricing — ask on WhatsApp.
Is there a monthly fee or subscription?
None. You pay for the card once. There's no plan, no renewal, no per-scan charge and no dashboard subscription.
How long does delivery take?
Design and programming take one to two working days after your details are confirmed. Delivery time then depends on your city — we'll give you a date on WhatsApp before we print anything.
Do you deliver outside Delhi NCR?
Yes. We're based in Delhi NCR and ship anywhere in India. Setup happens over WhatsApp, so your location doesn't change the process.
I don't have a Google Business Profile yet. Can you help?
Tell us on WhatsApp and we'll help you set one up before the card is programmed. It's free to create and usually takes about a day to verify.
How do I order TapStar review cards?
Use the order form on this page or message us on WhatsApp. We confirm your business, the design and the delivery address before anything goes to print.
Using it day to day
Where should I keep the card?
Wherever you say thank you — the billing counter, the reception desk, the salon chair, the delivery bag. The best results come from a staff member handing it over with one sentence: "if you had a good experience, tap here."
How many reviews will I actually get?
Nobody can promise you a number, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. What we can say is that the drop-off happens at the friction, not the willingness — most customers don't mind reviewing, they just won't go and search for you. Shops that hand the card over on purpose see far more than shops that leave it in a drawer.
Can the card link to Instagram, my menu or WhatsApp instead?
Yes. It's a link on a chip, so it can point anywhere — your Instagram, a digital menu, a booking page, your WhatsApp, or a single page that lists all of them.
Can I change where the card points later?
Yes. Message us and we'll reprogram it, free for your first change. Useful if you move locations or want it pointing at your menu during a rush.
Can I get cards for multiple branches?
Yes, and each branch should get its own card pointing at its own profile — Google treats every location separately, so reviews need to land on the right one. Tell us how many locations and we'll price it as a set.
Rules, ranking and risk
Is this allowed by Google?
Yes. Google allows you to ask customers for reviews. What isn't allowed is paying for reviews, offering discounts in exchange, filtering out unhappy customers, or writing fake ones. The card only makes your real review page easier to reach — that's the whole trick.
Do more Google reviews help me rank higher?
Reviews are one of the signals Google uses for local results, alongside distance and how complete your profile is. More reviews, better ratings and a steady flow of recent ones generally help you show up in the map pack, and increasingly in AI-generated answers that summarise local options.
Will AI search send customers to my competitor if they have more reviews?
That's the risk. AI overviews and chat assistants have to pick a few names out of many, and they lean on the same public signals: rating, review count, how recent the reviews are, and what people say in them. A business with no recent reviews is easy to leave out of the answer.
What if someone leaves a bad review?
It happens, and a profile with nothing but five stars looks fake anyway. The defence is volume: one poor review among sixty barely moves your average, while one among six is a real dent. Reply to it politely in public — future customers read the reply as closely as the complaint.
Can I hide bad reviews or only ask happy customers?
No, and we won't help with that. Review gating breaks Google's policies and can get your profile penalised. TapStar points at your public review page for everyone, because the honest version is also the one that survives.
Does the card collect any customer data?
No. The chip holds a link and nothing else. It doesn't store, read or transmit anything from your customer's phone — the phone simply opens a web page.
Is TapStar affiliated with Google?
No. We're an independent business. Google, the Google logo and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC, and our cards simply link to your own public Google review page.
Every happy customer is a five-star review you didn't ask for properly.
